
With more than 34 years of experience in credit and mortgage finance, Traci Dolphin is a recognized authority in the equipment leasing and commercial finance industry. As Chief Credit Officer at Commercial Funding Partners (CFP), she leads all credit and underwriting operations for the firm’s national portfolio of commercial finance transactions, combining deep analytical expertise with a pragmatic, sales-oriented mindset.
Traci’s leadership is pivotal to CFP’s success, guiding the company as it scaled its annual funding volume from $15 million to over $100 million, with ambitious plans to reach $300 million in the near future. She oversees deal structuring, credit policy, and portfolio monitoring, ensuring every transaction—ranging from $250,000 to $25 million—is backed by thorough due diligence and sound risk management. Traci’s core expertise lies in structuring creative, bank-complementary deals for both bankable and non-bankable clients, solving complex financing challenges such as international vendor deposits, 100% project funding, and progress payments where traditional banks fall short.
Known for her collaborative and client-centric approach, Traci works closely with brokers, clients, and internal teams to deliver flexible, high-impact financing solutions that empower mid-market businesses nationwide to secure essential, revenue-generating equipment. Her belief that financing should be a team-driven process has fostered a culture where clients view CFP as a true strategic partner—offering not just capital, but guidance and partnership throughout the financing journey.
Traci is actively engaged with leading industry associations, including the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA), and the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB). Her thought leadership has been spotlighted through public speaking engagements, recognition as a “Top Woman in Leasing,” and her role in helping CFP maintain an A+ BBB rating and a reputation for integrity and reliability.
Traci holds a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University. Residing in Utah with her husband, four children, and grandchildren, she loves to travel—especially when it includes the sun.
