
Buddy Zarbock is the CEO and Founder of Commercial Funding Partners, LLC (CFP), a national direct lender specializing in equipment financing and leasing solutions. Since establishing the firm in 2012, he has led CFP in delivering tailored capital solutions for businesses across diverse industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, construction, aviation, agriculture, and transportation. Under his leadership, CFP has funded projects ranging from $250,000 to over $100 million, with more than 40% of the company’s transactions coming from repeat clients.
Buddy’s career began at IBM, where he gained valuable insights into technology and business systems. He later became the manager and co-owner of Plumbers Supply Company, which he successfully expanded before its acquisition by Wolseley Company, a global distributor. At Wolseley, Buddy held key roles in business development, branch growth, and market expansion, sharpening his expertise in scaling operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College (Utah). Active in the industry, Buddy serves on the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) Independent Lessor Steering Committee and also has served as Chairman of the Education Committee for the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB) and participates in the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA).
Residing in Utah with his wife, five children, and grandchildren, Buddy is an avid skier, squash player, mountain biker, open-water swimmer, and reader. His personal and professional life reflects his passion for growth, resilience, and building long-term partnerships.
